Nice to read your blog - saw the reference on the eve forum. I have had my pouch since August 2009.

Your current experience seems pretty normal to me or at least makes me feel pretty normal - for people like us.

I try not to let my pouch limit what I can do/eat or drink but over time I seem to have adjusted the quantities (generally) so that either there are no unhappy side effects or at least they are limited. (Well most of the time!)

Just one thing - your closure scar looks nicer tnan mine - I'm jealous!

Look forward to reading future entries and hope you will have smooth sailing in your journey!

    1. Thanks Lew. My stoma sight was stitched closed the final day in the hospital. It made for a nice scar.
